I can forgive him a bit because he’s like 16/17 in Season 1, so he’s still a kid having to deal with teenage angst, hormones, being on the brink of adulthood, etc., and he does grow over the story but still, calling girls names, pushing them around, and pouting is what 8-year-olds do, Icchan~ That said, I loved when the other characters teased Ichigo or manipulated his obvious feelings for/jealousy over/possessiveness over the MC. I can’t count how many times I wanted to smack Ichigo and tell him to stop being a brat. For someone who’s so worried about his “cool” image, being constantly jealous and an asshole to the MC is really uncool, you know? “I-it’s not like I like…” No, get out. incredibly tsun throughout the Main Story and Epilogue, but he managed to be cute (when he wasn’t being tsun). I (grudgingly) ended up loving Ichigo anyway. I can’t say I was excited about him being so. Guess you can’t judge a tsundere by his cover… As it turns out, Ichigo in DDiWT is actually a complete and total tsundere, one of my least favorite character types… Urghhhhh, why did you betray my expectations, Ichigo? I went with Ichigo because he looked like he’d be the ore-sama type (my favorite type), he was best-looking, and he has the same name as one of my beloved manga guys, Ichigo from Bleach (same kanji too).
But I saw that the later seasons have the characters aged up (and they are way hotter when older), and it turns out the game mostly glosses over sex in the first season.
